Lighter Guide — Fire Stun Specialist (v2.8)

TL;DR

Lighter is an S-rank Fire Stun agent from Sons of Calydon who specializes in rapid Daze buildup and chain attack setup. His Blaze Knuckle mechanic lets him enter an enhanced state that dramatically increases his stun efficiency, making him one of the fastest stunners in ZZZ for Fire teams. He excels as a flexible flex-slot stunner who also provides team-wide Fire damage buffs.

Core Mechanics

Blaze Knuckle

Lighter's signature mechanic, Blaze Knuckle, activates when he accumulates enough heat from his Special Attack and Dodge Counter. While active, his basic attacks deal increased Daze and Fire damage, and his movement speed increases. This state is the cornerstone of his gameplay — managing heat generation and maintaining uptime is key to maximizing his stun output.

Chain Attack Multiplier

Lighter's EX Special Attack builds significant Daze and sets up enemies for devastating Chain Attacks. His passive increases the entire team's Chain Attack damage against stunned enemies, making him a premier enabler for burst-oriented team compositions.

Best Team Compositions

Premium: Lighter + Burnice + Caesar

The ultimate Fire team. Caesar provides shields and ATK buffs, Burnice supplies off-field Fire anomaly buildup for Disorders, and Lighter stuns quickly for massive Chain Attack windows. This team excels in Shiyu Defense and boss content.

Budget: Lighter + Lucy + Piper

An accessible team using only A-rank supports. Lucy's ATK buff and Piggy support synergize with Lighter's Sons of Calydon faction passive. Piper adds Physical anomaly for additional Disorder damage during stun windows.

Alternative: Lighter + Soldier 11 + Lucy

Pairs Lighter with another Fire DPS for raw burn damage. Soldier 11's consistent Fire damage output during stun windows makes this a strong choice for pure Fire teams.

Mindscape Cinema Priority

• M1: Increases Fire DMG for the whole team — excellent value
• M2: Enhanced energy generation for faster rotations
• M4: Additional Daze on EX Special hits
• M6: Major stun efficiency and damage spike

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Lighter worth pulling in ZZZ?

Yes. He is the premier Fire Stun unit and enables the strongest Fire team compositions. If you main Burnice or plan to build a Fire roster, Lighter is a must-pull.

Can Lighter work outside Fire teams?

He functions as a general stunner, but his faction passives benefit Sons of Calydon teammates. He still performs well as a flex stunner in any team needing fast Daze buildup.

How does Lighter compare to Koleda?

Lighter is generally considered stronger due to his self-buffing Blaze Knuckle mechanic and team-wide Fire damage support. Koleda is still excellent, especially in Belobog teams.

What Bangboo should I use with Lighter?

Red Moccus (S-rank) for Sons of Calydon teams. Rocketboo for generic Fire teams. Avocaboo if you need additional healing.
